All Saints’ Episcopal Church is hosting the Eighth Annual Chili Open Golf Tournament on Saturday, March 14, 2015.

For the eighth year in a row, the most celebrated winter golf tournament in Montana will take place on church grounds Saturday morning, March 14th. Join us for this wonderful snow golf event that raises much needed funds for the Flathead County Animal Shelter, the Flathead Spay and Neuter Task Force, the Humane Society of Northwest Montana, and Spay Montana - Browning serving the Blackfeet Indian Reservation. “Green Fees” which include golf and lunch are $20 per person with the entirety of what is raised being donated to help the most vulnerable of God’s creation, dogs and cats who are homeless and abused. Again this year, holes in one can be purchased for $50 each.

On the night prior to the golf tournament, Friday, March 13th, beginning at 7:00 pm, an evening wine / soft drink / appetizer fund-raising event will be held at the Pomerantz home at 342 Plantation Drive north of Kalispell off of Whitefish Stage Road. This fund-raising party is also $20 with the entirety of that fee also going to the dogs and cats.

The morning tee-off time for this “shotgun-started Texas Scramble” is at 10:30 am followed by a catered lunch at 11:45 am. The afternoon tee-off time is 12:45 pm. Seventy-two golfers can be accommodated with 36 in the morning and 36 in the afternoon. Lunch is again being generously donated by Famous Dave’s Restaurant in Kalispell, Loula’s Restaurant in Whitefish and the Tupelo Grille and Haskill Station in Whitefish. Besides Famous Dave’s chili, there will be vegetarian and vegan chili available as well as an alternative lunch dish.

To help homeless animals in need of medical care, shelter and companionship, a silent auction will be held during lunch, which will include original art work and gift baskets from local merchants.

All reservations must be made by calling the Humane Society of Northwest Montana at 406-752- 7297, Tuesday through Saturday from 11 am to 5 pm or by emailing . For ongoing information and event updates, visit www.humanesocietypets.com or visit www.facebook.com/humane.society.of.northwest.montana.

All Saints’ is dedicated to striving for the day when no homeless pet goes unloved or lacks compassionate care which is the reason it is energetically supporting these wonderful animal welfare agencies.
