Our all-volunteer choir of 25-30 members sings weekly at the 10:15 a.m. Sunday service, September through the Day of Pentecost, and for special services throughout the year, including the Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols on the evening of Advent IV.

Holy Spirit is home to a glorious two-manual, mechanical-action instrument installed by Richard Bond Organ Builders in 1999. Occasional organ concerts are offered, and have featured guest organists including Marilyn Keiser, Doug Cleveland, Bruce Neswick, and Charles Tompkins.

Dr. Nancy Cooper is the organist and choir director, and has held this position at Holy Spirit since 1992. Dr. Cooper has her doctorate in music from the Eastman School of Music and is also a member of the music faculty at The University of Montana in Missoula.
Those interested in joining the choir are invited to contact Nancy to schedule a chat/audition; you can email her at nancy.cooper@umontana.edu, contact the church office, or speak to her after church on Sunday mornings.
Nancy Cooper's new anthem, "An Easter Carol," with text by Christina Rossetti, has been published by Selah Publishing as a part of the Sarah MacDonald Choral Series, which features all women composers. The anthem was written in memory of choir member Carol McQuade and is interwoven with the calls of western Montana songbirds. A link to the anthem is here:
