Getting to Know Our Neighbors to the North
Over the past 30 years, Holy Spirit’s Jim Taylor has worked in several capacities for the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes, including as the Managing Attorney of the Tribal Defenders Office (1996-2006), Managing Attorney of the Tribal Prosecutors Office (2019-2022), and Associate Attorney Justice on their Court of Appeals (2022-2025). In December 2025, Jim was appointed as the Chief Justice of the Court of Appeals for the CSKT and currently serves in that capacity.
His talk, “Getting to Know our Neighbors to the North: The Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes,” will present a brief history of the Flathead Reservation, admittedly from the perspective of a non-member, but a non-member with significant contacts with the Tribes over the past three decades.
Be sure to join us May 20 to learn more about the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes with Vestry member Jim Taylor.
Wednesday, May 20 • 6:30–8 p.m.
