Memorial Services or Funerals

Funerals or Memorial Services

We encourage people to think in advance about services because it helps their family or others at the time of death to plan for a fitting memorial.

If you are a friend or family member planning a service after someone you love has died, please know that the staff of Holy Spirit will do all we can to develop a dignified service in the Episcopal tradition which also honors your family's wishes as much as possible.

The clergy preside at the funeral of any person, whether or not a member of Holy Spirit. When a death is imminent, the church can be called if prayers and/or the service of ministration at the time of death are desired. Read our booklet to help guide you through planning a funeral or memorial service.

A memorial service for our dear friend Tim Iudicello will take place on Friday, April 5, at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Spirit. The service will be livestreamed. Click here or on the image below to watch the memorial service.

The Holy Spirit Columbarium

Holy Spirit's columbarium is built into the west wall of the church in a quiet garden space. Each niche has space for two urns, and an inscribed plaque notes the name and dates of the persons whose ashes are buried in the niche. Read more about the columbarium. For more information about the columbarium or to make arrangements in advance, please contact the church office at (406) 542-2167.
