Join us for the Missoula Pride Parade on June 20

Missoula’s Pride Parade is Saturday, June 20. Holy Spirit is number 56 in the lineup. Vehicles and walkers will gather at 11:30 a.m. on Myrtle Street, halfway between 3rd and 4th Streets. The parade begins at noon and travels from 3rd Street and Higgins to Main Street and Higgins.

This is a time of fellowship, fun, and love. Wear your Holy Spirit T‑shirt and bring your rainbow colors. Margaret Borg will lead the way in her 1930 Model A, and Tracey and John Gage will have their pickup truck for anyone who would like to ride. If you have a classic car you’d like to include, please contact Holly Swartz at 406‑542‑1978.

If you plan to walk or ride in the parade, please let the office know at 406‑542‑2167 or email office@holyspiritmissoula.org.

Fifty years ago, the General Convention of the Episcopal Church passed a one‑sentence resolution, AO69: “Resolved, That it is the sense of this General Convention that homosexual persons are children of God who have a full and equal claim with all other persons upon the love, acceptance, and pastoral concern and care of the Church.” This year, at General Convention in Minneapolis, the Church will continue this work through “The Pursuit of a Promise.”

Let us continue to live out this call to love and acceptance. Come walk with us.
