Food for Thought: Upcoming Book Study
Starting Saturday, January 24, join Sara Streeter and Carla Mettling for a five-week journey into the world of food, culture, and conscious choices. Our winter book study, Food for Thought, will explore two thought-provoking works:
- Mark Bittman’s Animal, Vegetable, Junk — tracing how humanity's food practices have evolved from hunter-gatherers to modern junk-food consumers, and how these shifts have shaped societies.
- Sophie Egan’s How to Be a Conscious Eater — a practical guide to making food choices that care for the planet, farmers, animals, and ourselves.

- Dates: Saturdays, January 24 – February 21
- Time: 10:00 – 11:30 a.m.
