Diocese of Montana Newsletter, March 2019
Standing Committee Update
The Standing Committee continues to meet weekly by video-conference and once/month in person. We continue to oversee and be responsible for the various aspects of the Search process for our Tenth Bishop and to conduct the business of the Diocese.
In February, we arranged for The Rt. Rev. Jim Waggoner, Eighth Bishop of Spokane (retired) to conduct the ordination of The Rev. Angelique Bolling and The Rev. Gretchen Strohmaier. With input from Canon Chris Roberts, we updated the Clergy Search Process. Two of our members, The Rev. Canon Bradley Wirth and The Rev. Jean Collins, traveled to St. Mark’s, Havre to assist the congregation as they decide their future. In addition, we are working on details of the Electing Convention.
