A Note from the Rector - June 2021 Update
A Few Covid-19 Protocol Changes for Worship:
We continue to be fluid in how we address the ongoing pandemic in which we live. After further conversations with Bishop Marty and the clergy of the diocese, I am making the following change in our worship together: masks will not be required but will be optional, including for choir and congregational singing. The county of Missoula is holding very well with low Covid-19 cases and good vaccination numbers. I sense a real need for a break from mask-wearing in order to rebuild some resilience for instances in the future that may really require them to be worn again.
As I've said and written before, there are many reasons some will continue to wear a mask and we will respect the use of masks by those who choose to wear them. If you are not vaccinated, the wearing of a mask is recommended. Hopefully things will continue to improve on into the fall, but regardless, this is probably the best time we have to relax protocols a bit as we begin to trust the vaccines and continue gathering in person as well as online. Remember that the requirements could change at any time as we go forward and you will be notified of any changes.
Faithfully with you on the way,
Terri+
