Powering Up at Holy Spirit

There’s a place for everyone at Holy Spirit – in a range of activities that guide and support our worship, programs and, well, everything that happens across our church community. As we power up at Holy Spirit for the year to come, you’re invited to plug in to places where your skills can shine – leading, doing, engaging and perhaps taking on something new for our church community.

We’re rebooting a number of ministries, and that’s not surprising. The pandemic prompted people across the economy to rethink their commitments and make changes. At Holy Spirit, we’ve seen the same dynamic of change for some individuals who had helped make things “go” at our church over many years.

But what hasn’t changed are the rewards of getting involved – whether you’re a someone who likes to organize teams, excels as an idea person or prefers a hands-on project. Holy Spirit, as they say, has something for everyone.

Here are just a couple areas where your time and talents are needed and welcomed:

  • Christian Formation
  • Stewardship
  • Altar Guild
  • Buildings & Grounds

Let’s start thinking about where we could play a role. Each of us can make a powerful difference by getting involved with new ministries at Holy Spirit. Look for more information over the weeks ahead, or talk with Terri or Gretchen anytime.

Sometimes it Takes Two to Power Up

So many friendships come from getting involved at Holy Spirit. And, conversely, sometimes you and a friend are just what’s needed to power up a key ministry at Holy Spirit.

We’re encouraging you to take on a new role with someone you know. Joining a committee with a friend makes it easier, lots more familiar, and helps bring new ideas to the mix.

It’s a powerful combination!

Here are several areas where your time and talents are needed and welcomed:

  • Spiritual Formation
  • Stewardship
  • Altar Guild
  • Buildings & Grounds

For more information, contact Molly Bowler or Sue LaRose, as well as Rev. Terri or Rev. Gretchen.
