Holy Spirit Episcopal Church

Holy Spirit Parish is again joining with other local faith communities to collect new packages of socks and underwear for children ages 4-12 who live in the Missoula Valley. The collection will begin on Sunday, July 9, and conclude on Sunday, July 23. A plastic bin will be available around-the-clock on the porch outside the church office to receive your donations.

This is the 37th year that St. Paul Lutheran Church has coordinated the Gary Turbak Memorial Back-to-School Clothing Project. The church receives referrals from social service agencies with the names of families with children ages 4-12 who would benefit from having a new outfit to start the school year. Families come to a “store” set up in the church basement where clothing is organized by size. Last year, almost 400 children each received a pair of jeans, a top, a new package of socks and underwear and a pair of shoes.

Donations of new packages of children's socks and underwear are vital to the success of this effort. Please be generous! Thank you.
