Blessing of the Animals!

This year St. Francis Day, October 4, falls on a Sunday, and we will celebrate the Blessing of the Animals within our virtual worship service for the day. We'd like to make this special by inviting everyone to take a picture of their pets and send them to the office by no later than Friday, September 25. We know that many animals aren't able to come to our annual on-site animal blessing service, so this year we hope we will get to see, celebrate, and bless all the pets of the parish. Together, we will remember we are all part of a much larger whole as we lift up all of God's creation! The entire liturgy will be designed with this in mind.

Please send your photos to  by no later than Friday, September 25, and yes - your entire family may be in the photo - it's up to you.

Journey (my corgi) and I look forward to seeing everyone!

Make a joyful noise!

Do you have pets that "make a joyful noise"? If so, please record them, just a short recording - 10 to 15 seconds, tops - and send your videos to , via Google Drive. Chickens clucking, hounds howing, cats yowling, horses neighing, we want them all!

Thanks, all - and we need them absolutely no later than noon on Wednesday, September 30th!

Be sure to join us online on Sunday morning, October 4, at 10:15 a.m. at the direct link to the service that will be sent to you in an email on Saturday and Sunday just prior to our vitual Sunday service. All you have to do is click the link in the email in order to see the service. Can't join us at that time? Don't worry! The recorded service will be available on the church YouTube page here.
The link to the service becomes live at 8 a.m. on Sunday, October 4, if you want to view the service earlier.
