LIVING HEALTHIER LONGER
Wednesday, December 4th - 6:30-8:30
For many of us, our wish is that we and our loved ones live long and healthy lives, but often the reality is different. As someone has said, "aging is not for the weak."
Our next Community Concerns presentation will be a panel of individuals who will provide both scientific and personal information that will allow us to live longer and healthier, expanding what is called our "well-span." There will be information for all age groups, what can we be doing in our 20s, 30s, 40s, etc. to reach this goal.
The panel includes Charlie Swannack, MD addressing heart issues, Janice Givler, MD addressing women's issues including hormone replacement therapy, Marcy Hanson, PhD addressing the role of public health in living healthier, and Ryan Thompson, a young adult who will share his personal journey to wellness.
This will be an informative and interesting presentation for the entire community, so reach out to your family, friends, young and old and invite them.
