Habitat Work Day, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm

Our next Habitat for Humanity build day—and the last for the summer—will be on Wednesday, August 20, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, at Habitat’s Mariposa Commons triplex at 1918 Burlington Ave. The building is nearing completion, but there are still plenty of tasks remaining for both new and experienced builders, supervised by Habitat’s capable crew. Carla Mettling and Kate Laney will be providing a delicious lunch on site.
If you would like to be part of the crew, please let me know using the contact info below. If you can only work a half day, either morning or afternoon, that’s fine, too. Just let me know.
Working on a Habitat house is a fun and enriching experience and what it does for the families moving in is immeasurable. Come join us!
