Church School 2021: All God’s Children

Kick-Off Sunday is September 12th. The Church School rooms have been cleaned and sanitized. And we will follow a protocol for cleaning after each use. Both children and adults will wear masks and all adults working with children will be required to be vaccinated. We will work diligently to keep things clean and to keep our kids safe, so that we can meet in person! We miss our kids! The church misses her children! This pandemic has taught us about the vitality of our youth and their integral role in the life of the church.

Families, we’ll be sending you Church School registration forms to complete. Plan now to join us in person on Sunday morning September 12th as we celebrate All God’s Children. We’ll be learning about what all God’s children need, things like: water, food, shelter, clothing and love! During this Church School year the kids will turn their attention to each of these basics, learning about the importance of each of these building blocks, and discovering ways they can support these basic needs within the lives’ of others. We’ll have opportunities for kids to get involved, learning about shelter through our local Habitat for Humanity build and supporting the Carey family who will be recipients of a Habitat house. Kids will also have an opportunity to get involved with Saved Soles, a kid-inspired ministry from the diocese of the Rio Grande which is soliciting shoes for immigrants at the border. Opportunities to learn about water and food abound right here in Missoula and of course, we’ll practice sharing love! Our country, world and earth can use all the LOVE it can get right now.
