Diocese of Montana Newsletter, September 2019
From the Transition Committee – September 2019
The committee met via teleconference on Wed 14 August. Co-chair Gary Swartz reviewed Transition’s work to date beginning with Bishop Brookhart’s farewell at the 2018 convention. He led a thorough evaluation by committee members of our recent Walkabouts with the bishop-candidates. About 500 people attended the six sessions in the state. There were some high points and unique moments and some difficulties with tight schedules. A number of items will be preserved for such future endeavors.
