Donors needed for our April Blood Drive!

Holy Spirit Parish will partner once again with Montana Red Cross and host its annual winter blood drive on Tuesday, April 4, from 1:00 – 6:00 p.m. in the Parish Hall. 

Every day, donated blood helps patients of all ages: accident and burn victims, heart surgery and organ transplant patients, and those battling cancer. Every two seconds, someone in the U.S. needs blood.

Montana Red Cross provides blood products to more than 30 hospitals and medical centers across the state.  During the winter months, weather conditions and the prevalence of flu and colds can make it more difficult to collect donations.  Your participation in this blood drive will help the Red Cross meet the demand and save lives.

You can sign up for an appointment to donate blood using the Red Cross online scheduling system at www.redcrossblood.org or by contacting Elizabeth Drummond (406-240-8873;  ).

The basic requirements to donate are:

• You are in good health and feeling well.
• You weigh at least 110 pounds.
• If you are not yet 18 years old, you need a consent form signed by your parent or guardian. 

Additional height and weight restrictions apply to those 18 years or younger.
