JOIN US FOR THE PANCAKE SUPPER ON SHROVE TUESDAY, MARCH 4!
We would like to invite you to join us for our annual Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper on Tuesday, March 4. The event will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. in the parish hall. It's a wonderful opportunity to gather with your family and enjoy a delicious meal of "all you can eat" pancakes and sausages, accompanied by juice and coffee.
The tradition of Shrove Tuesday is rooted in the practice of seeking forgiveness before the start of Lent. In the past, people would indulge in rich foods on this day before observing a strict Lenten fast. Our Pancake Supper allows us to use up those ingredients while filling our stomachs with tasty treats. The event is organized by the men of Holy Spirit, and the cost is $6 for adults, $4 for kids aged 5-12, and free for children aged 4 and under. We hope to see you there!
